framed: 30 by 25¾ in.; 76.3 by 65.5 cm The oval composition is painted on a rectangular canvas. There appears to be an old French lining to address a circa 5 inch long tear at lower left. The paint surface on the flesh areas appears slightly abraded due to previous cleaning. Under UV light, inpainting visible to address aforementioned tear; on figure's shirt; in figure's hair. Inpainting on the harlequin, the table, and the background no longer fluoresces but is visible with the naked eye. The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale.
