Condition:

The canvas and stretcher are in good condition. There is evidence of the stretcher bar along the centre, only visible on close inspection. There are minor abrasions and scuffs in places throughout, with rubbing, surface dirt and handling marks evident towards the edges. There is a scuff (approx. 15 cm in length) to the centre left, in the light grey passage. There are scattered surface accretions in places, most noticeable to the centre and lower left quadrant. This work has been examined under ultraviolet light and no restorations appear. Otherwise, there are no apparent condition issues with this work.
