Condition:

Framed: 62.8 by 72.4cm., 24¾ by 28½in. The board is stable, but very slightly bowed. The lower left corner of the board is uneven. Inspection under UV light reveals no signs of retouching. The is some frame abrasion, including some nicks and losses to the extreme edges, the largest of which is a line of pigment loss (approx. 2cm.) to the upper left edge. There are fine lines of craquelure to the thicker areas of paint in the lower right quadrant. There is some surface dirt and minor surface accretions in places. The work is in overall very good condition. The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale.
