												The canvas is unlined. The edges are taped. The canvas undulates slightly throughout. Artist's pinholes in the lower right corner. Craquelure in the areas of the thickest impasto, most notably in the figure's body, the blanket, and the gray pigments to the left of the figure's face. Further fine craquelure in the upper register. Under UV light: one 1 inch vertical area of inpainting in the sitter's hand. Further inpainting along the upper right edge. Three additional strokes of inpainting in the upper right quadrant and three in the lower right quadrant.
