In "Naarup Korsvej" (Naarup Crossroad) the people move in towards the centre of the image and connect with the color contrasting yellow bus. Telegraph poles wander further into the countryside, which is held together by the red house on the right side of the painting in the foreground. But the positions of the people also serve as anchor points for the eye. This gives the landscape a depth and a space, which all the elements of the image relate to.
