Both canvases are unlined, unframed, and have not been recently restored. There is a slight undulation to the canvas of the View of Saint Marks. Both images read relatively well despite being beneath an old, dirty, and discolored varnish. There are some scattered small losses here and there. Inspection under UV reveals a varnish that fluoresces unevenly in areas, and there may be some old scattered spots of retouching and strengthening here and there. Both offered unframed.
