Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is lighter in the original. Please note the colours in the online catalogue illustration may vary depending on screen settings. Condition: This work is in good condition. All collaged elements are stable. Very close inspection reveals some tiny specks of wear and loss to all four extreme corner tips and in places to the overturn edges.There is a pattern of drying craquelure throughout. Very close inspection reveals five small networks of cracks; two to the pink pigment towards the centre of the left hand edge, two towards the upper left hand corner, which appear to have been consolidated and fluoresce darkly under ultra-violet light, and one towards the centre right of the bottom edge, which has a small spot of associated loss. Close inspection reveals a superficial layer of surface dirt in places to the white pigment. No further restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
