Provenance:
Niels Peter Emil Poulsen (b. 1883 in Sweden, d. 1974 in Fredensborg), who moved to Fredensborg as a young man and became a haulage. When the Royal and Imperial families visited the Royal Danish family at Fredensborg Palace he was also carriage driver. During such a visit he drove for Grand Duke Mikhail Alexandrovich and received this tiepin as thank you for faithful service. Thence by descent until today
