Markings:
The artist board is planar and stable with a slight convex bow. A horizontal line of repair or inconsistency in the support is faintly visible along the top of the composition but is not distracting. The landscape image reads well beneath the varnish. Under UV inspection, the varnish is thick and milky, and impedes further inspection, though retouching may be present underneath. The painting can hang in its present state. Offered in a simply carved giltwood frame.
