Condition:

The work has been examined framed. Canvas is not lined. There is an uneven and milky varnish preventing UV light from fully penetrating. Examination under UV light reveals a few small dots of retouching scattered most predominantly in the upper part of the composition. There are a few scattered fly spots. There is some minor paint shrinkage in the background most predominantly in the brown pigments. This work is in overall good condition and could benefit from a light clean.
