signed in Cyrillic on the reverse; further signed, titled, dated 1985 and bearing a Serralves Museum label on the stretcher

Condition:

The work consists of four sheets of masonite of various dimensions which have been nailed to a wooden stretcher. The nails are protruding on the recto and the paint layer has split along the joints. A small area with cracks is visible approximately 20 centimetres from the centre of the bottom edge of the largest sheet of masonite. There are dents and nicks along the edges which appear, for the most part, inherent to the materials used. There are a few surface scratches and scuff marks, none of which are visually distracting. There is a horizontal accretion towards the centre of the work. There is a light layer of surface dirt. Unframed.
