Working for the silversmith Peter Bruckmann between 1925 to 1933, then for the Württembergische Metallwaren-Fabrik (WMF), she participated in several international exhibitions including the 1929 World's Fair in Barcelona where she was very successful with her silver objects . Paula Strauss died in 1943 in Auschwitz.
