Description:

Markings:

incised with the artist's initials, numbered and dated 'RW 1999 AP 2/3 on the inside of the plaster base

Condition:

The work is displayed on a wooden plinth and the overall installation dimensions are 152 x 72.8 x 46 cm (59 7/8 x 28 5/8 x 18 1/8 in.) The work is structurally sound. There are occasional bubbles in the resin to the upper part, inherent to the artist’s casting process. There is minor rubbing to the corners and edges in places, minor scattered surface marks and occasional accretions, all only visible on close inspection. There is a minor chip to one of the lower corners of the lower part and two minor chips to one of the vertical edges of the lower part (approx. 1 cm and 0.5 cm in length), only visible on close inspection. There are occasional surface inconsistencies to the lower part deemed inherent to the artist’s studio. Otherwise, there are no apparent condition issues with this work.
