Capriccio Con Larco Di Costantino E Figure
Materials:
oil on canvas
Measurements:
25.98 in. (66.00 cm.) (height) by 19.49 in. (49.50 cm.) (width)
Provenance:
Milan & ndash; Rome 1993 VC 97-98) while the association between an arch adorned with Corinthian columns on the left and a portico in the background is found in a private collection painting (Marshall 1993 VC 74) and in a canvas of pi & ugrave; wide range in the Uffizi (VC 75). In our case the figures seem to be by the hand of Filippo Lauri and suggest a dating in the Sixties introducing not coincidentally a model that will be written; taken from Niccol & ograve; Codazzi son of Viviano.
